Much has been focused on the U.S. election campaign throughout the fall, and now it’s finally over. 😀


The last three U.S. elections have sparked strong emotions, even on this side of the Atlantic, with this year's campaign perhaps more so than the previous ones. But for those of us involved in navigating the financial markets, the challenge is to separate emotions, rhetoric, and noise from what is most likely to impact the markets.


As with so many things related to the future, predicting is difficult. At best, we can hope for an informed guess, experience-based insights, and probability assessments.
